PhilHealth Online Registration 2022 | Newest Online Method | Proven with Step-by-step Procedures

Since PhilHealth online registration system called eRegistration is currently under maintenance, individuals are forced to apply for a PhilHealth number physically or walk into the office.

But given the current situation with an increasing number of covid cases, I advise the public to use this method of PhilHealth online registration instead of physically going to the PhilHealth offices.

With this method, you don’t have to go to PhilHealth offices, fall in long lines, and wait for your PhilHealth Identification Number to be released.

Take note that this process of PhilHealth online registration is official. We will be using the official email address of PhilHealth itself.

Outlined below are the step-by-step procedures for PhilHealth Online registration via email.

PhilHealth Online Registration 2022 Requirements

Before proceeding to PhilHealth Online Registration, you need to prepare the necessary documentary requirements.

PhilHealth Member Registration Form

Using the eRegistration, you don’t need to use this form since there are on-screen procedures wherein you just need to fill in your information.

But since we’re manually doing the PhilHealth online registration, you will be needing this form.

Think of it just like physical registration except that it is done online.

You can download the form at the end of the article.

Birth Certificate

This is the primary document needed for PhilHealth online registration. Without this, you need to present at least one valid ID for the registration to be accepted.

LCR Birth Certificate is also accepted but it is better to have your PSA Birth Certificate read too.

Valid IDs

Aside from the documentary requirements above, you will need the following things to conduct the online registration.

Here is the list of Valid IDs accepted for PhilHealth online registration.

  • Stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection
  • Mobile phone, laptop, or personal computer
  • 15 to 20 minutes of your time
  • Email address
  • PDF editor
  • Patience

Don’t worry about all of these except for the internet and device are free and can be done at home.

PhilHealth Online Registration 2022 Procedures

This method is a bit of a manual method compared to eRegistration.

You still need to fill out PhilHealth Member Registration Form (PMRF) and affix your digital signature.

After that, you will send the PMFR together with the scanned copies of your birth certificate and valid IDs to PhilHealth’s official email address.

Step 1: Fill out the PMRF.

You can use the manual or digital methods of filling out the PhilHealth Online Registration Form.

Method 1: Manual Filling Up

You can fill out the form manually if you are a non-techie person. Just print the PMRF at your home or outside through printing services near you. Don’t forget to sign it.

After filling them out, you need to scan the documents and save them in a PDF file format.

Method 2: Digital Filling Up

You can do this on both mobile and laptop or PC devices.

If you’re using a mobile smartphone device, download a free PDF filler application called pdfFiller from the Google play store.

Open Google Play Store > Search > pdfFiller.

After installing the application, register for a free account. You can use your Facebook or Google account to log in as this is more convenient than creating an account.

Click Upload Document and search for the downloaded PMRF. Fill out the form completely. You can use the app to affix your signature to the document too.

After filling it out, save the document as a PDF file.

Step 2: Scan Your Birth Certificate and Valid ID.

If you fill out the PMRF manually (hand-written), you must scan it and save it in a PDF file format. Make sure to scan your birth certificate and valid IDs too.

You can use any PDF scanner from the Google Play Store and save the scanned copies of birth certificates and IDs to your device.

Alternatively, you can take a picture of these documents and save them on your phone. Make sure the images are clear and all the information is readable.

Step 3: Send the Scanned PMRF and Valid ID to PhilHealth.

After all of the steps above are completed, you may now compose your email for PhilHealth online registration.

You can follow the format below when composing your email.

I am writing this email to register myself in Philhealth. This is needed for my application for employment and any legal purpose it may serve.

Don’t forget to attach the scanned copies of all the documents you’ve accomplished from the previous steps – PMRF, Birth Certificate, and valid IDs.

Sent this email to PhilHealth’s official email address depending on where you’re located at.

If you’re from Region 1, you need to send the email to the valid email addresses of the PhilHealth Region 1 office.

Here is the list of email addresses of PhilHealth.

In my case, I use all the email addresses available in my region as the recipients of the message. You can do this too.

Step 4: Wait for the PhilHealth Email Confirmation.

In my case, I registered my brother in PhilHealth on 20th October 2021, at 4:45 AM, and received the PhilHealth email confirmation on the same day at 2:50 PM.

But this will be dependent on the office that processed your registration.

Unlike eRegistration, your MDR will not be sent to your email address.

PhilHealth’s representatives were not allowed to send MDR through email for security purposes. I asked them to send me the details of my brother’s registration but here is their response.

No MDR Will Be Sent

In this case, you need to verify your PhilHealth Identification Number (PIN) by visiting the nearest PhilHealth office or using the PhilHealth online verification method.

Step 5: Verify Your PhilHealth Identification Number

After you’ve received that confirmation from PhilHealth concerning your successful registration, you need to verify your PhilHealth Identification Number or PIN.

This can be easily done by following this quick method.

Compose another email and use the same recipient’s email addresses but this time add to one of them.

Follow the format below for composing the email.
